The Faith in Action Fund assists faith communities and other non-profits to provide an essential financial safety net for those living on the margins of our community. During this unprecedented crisis, many service organizations are overwhelmed in meeting these direct needs. Your donation will enable our faith community to keep the community safety net strong while meeting the unprecedented needs of our local community during COVID-19 and beyond.
There was a need in the community for assistance with a Dominion Power bill totaling $862. The client had found housing but in order to move in, this past due amount had to be paid. The community came together to pay this bill. The FIA office was able to supply $300 and the rest was paid by the faith-based congregations. What a blessings to have organizations come together to meet needs.
