What a blessing to receive assistance in the time of need.  The Housing Resource Center had a client they found housing for.  The apartment would not let this client sign the lease until they could provide a $500 security deposit and pro-rated rent of $566.00.  Because of the Covid virus, she had lost her job and not able to come up with the money  Immediately, the Faith in Action Fund was able to provide the security deposit check. After reaching out to the Faith-based community with Charity Tracker bulletin, 2 churches  and a private donor responded and were able to come up with the pro-rated rent.  The client then was able to move in her new apartment.

We are so thankful for the generous donations to the Faith In Action fund.  Our agency places needy or homeless families in housing.  Some for the first time.  We recently had a mother and 2 children we found an apartment for.  They were so grateful but needed funds to get their belongs out of storage.  I contacted the Faith In Office and they were able to provide the funds to make this happen.  Thanks again for caring for the community.

We were so thankful for the Faith In Action fund.  One of the members of our congregation had lost her son to suicide.  She is currently unemployed due to the covid virus and unable to make the payment for his funeral.  The church was able to pay part of the monies.  We reached out to the Faith In Action office for assistance.  The team was able too give a portion of the expense.  The bill was paid and she was able to have closure in this stressful time.  Thank you, A Charity Tracker member
